Children, Youth & Families are an integral and valued part of the Church family. Over the years the mix and ages of the children have varied and included those who are the kids of church attenders as well as those who just come for the age-appropriate events...
On Sunday mornings we hold a Sunday School alongside the morning service during term time. On other occasions, the children stay in for a specially prepared family service. We also occasionally arrange family events / messy church.
We currently have a wide range of ages attending from new born babies, toddlers, primary and secondary school age as well as those about to leave for University.
For many years now we have been running a Babies on Toddler group every Tuesday morning during term-time. If you are a parent, grandparent, guardian or childcarer, you are welcome to bring the children in your care with you (up to 3 years old).
Normally the first hour will be freeplay, with a time of refreshments for children and adults alike (normally toast and biscuits).
We will then have a time for songs and a simple bible story, because we believe that knowing Jesus is the most important and best thing in the world for you and your family.
If you are interested, have any questions or need prayer, our team are here for you.
We have a close relationship with the local primary school. The Pastor and ministry team are regular;y invited in to the school to take assemblies and other events. The school will also come to the Church on special occasions such as Easter and Christmas, for special activities. Here's a photo of the team after our most recent 'Christmas Unwrapped' session with Year 5 and 6 pupils from Ysgol Maes Y Morfa.
During holiday times we occasionally organise holiday clubs and special family events. Our most recent was 'Easter Family Fun' on Saturday 12th April, which was very well attended.
